I live in a standalone house. What kind of router should I use?

For standalone houses, especially larger ones (over 300 square meters or multi-storey), we recommend a high-performance router or a mesh Wi-Fi system with 2–3 nodes.

AX3000 or higher Wi-Fi 6 models will provide strong and stable signals throughout the entire house, even extending to your backyard.

Recommended systems:

ASUS RT-57 AX3000 (2 or 3-Pack)

Tip: For houses, a mesh system with Ethernet backhaul (wired connection between nodes) can offer significantly better performance.

This is because house structures—such as concrete walls—can weaken or block Wi-Fi signals, so we recommend using wired connections between mesh units wherever possible (you may need to consult your cabler for setup).
